	*Braided Nelly 12” dia. x 5” high Intermediate/Advanced Level Fourth in the “Nelly” series of trac border baskets, this basket featuresa trac border/braided rim combination. Worked in tripled spokes and weavers, the base is woven in four rod waling (2/2 pattern), randed sides, and trac/braided rim. Choose from brown, blue, plum or green for the color. 	Cherry Knitting Basket (precut spokes) Dimensions: 10” high x 12” diameter (widest point) Level: Advanced The shape of this graceful basket is created by weaving over pre-shaped double spokes, cut from cherry. Sides are woven in a combination of chase and plain weave, with thin seagrass woven through paper-thin maple curls, creating the distinct undulating pattern on the sides of the basket and on the lid (inspired by an antique Indian basket). 	Fall Frolic Size: 8”h x 12” l x 9” w Skill level: Advanced/Intermediate Worked in fall colored reed, marbled strips and plenty of seagrass, Frolic features a slotted hardwood base, 2/2 waling and plain and continuous weaves. But the fun doesn’t stop there: create side handles from braided seagrass and add a seagrass decoration on the front of Frolic. 	Flying Geese Dimensions: 16” high x 12” wide x 9” deep Level: All weaving levels. Inspired by the “Flying Geese” border found on old quilts, begin with a solid black walnut slotted base with reed and black walnut overlay spokes. Work maple in vertically curled rows to create the triangular “flying geese” pattern. End with a stained black walnut handle, and uniquely curled doubled lashing. 	Forget-Me-Not Size: 13" long x 15" high x 9" wide Skill level: All levels Begin with a 6" x 10" wooden oval base, and work in twining and plain weave, emphasizing shaping. Then embellish the side with a wrapped/woven addition, reminiscent of delicate forget-me-not flowers. Finish off with a notched oak handle and rim lashing mirroring the pattern. 	Hills’n Valleys Dimensions: 9” Diameter X 11” High Levels: All Weaving Levels. This double walled basket with round reed interior base, top and outer base has several inches of space between the walls. The interior and outside baskets are joined by a gently rounded waled top, emphasizing shape and control. The exterior basket has cherry and black walnut insets accenting the sides forming the hills n’ valleys. The base features a unique finishing technique. 	*Indian Summer 13” diameter x 8” high Intermediate to Advanced Level This double walled basket features a hardwood double-slotted base. The interior basket is space-dyed in fall harvest colors, and the exterior basket, woven in natural-colored reed, features two rows of French randing – space dyed to match the interior. 	Interlockin' (precut spokes) 8 ½” h x 6 ¾” dia. All weaving levels. Black walnut spokes are pre-shaped into “wavy” forms, interlocking into each other. The pedestal base is of solid black walnut. 	Irouquois Treasures Dimensions: 12” high x 11” diameter Level: Advanced level. "Iroquis Treasures” is FULL of great techniques, from a bundled base, to a 2/2 waling in regular/reverse weave creating arrows around the basket, to three different twill patterns, to a lovely, unique pull & lash rim. No cut and tuck here! Made of natural and smoked reed, with a marbled strip to match, the form is reminiscent of Iroquois pottery forms. Estimated time:* 8-10 hours Kit: $42.00 Pattern: $5.00
	*Jewel of the Nile Size: 11” dia x 10” high Intermediate weaving level. Inspired by Pat Moritz's colorfully painted paper baskets, Jewel features marbledand space-dyed, pre-shaped spokes, set into a hardwood base. Because the spokes are pre-shaped, the actual shaping is simple. Sides are woven in a broken twill/reverse twill pattern with four diamond patters on the bottom third of the basket. Beads adorn the rim, lashed on with waxed linen in a modified blanket stitch. Estimated time: 8 hours Kit: $39.00 Pattern: $4.00
	Kelly's Two-Tone Snowflake 15” x 15” x 3” deep All weaving levels. While visiting one of my friends, I was inspired by an old snowflake “basket” she had on display. Kelly’s Two-tone is the result. Choose two of the following to make your snowflake: black walnut, cherry, or maple. One will be the outside spokes, and one the contrast inner spokes. This is a “cut, weave, and glue” project. 	Marbled Waves (shaped spokes) Size: 10” dia x 13” high (incl handle) All weaving levels. Begin with a slotted hardwood base, and add a combination of pre-shaped spokes and dyed reed spokes. Chase weave the sides, then comes the fun: the handle is pre-cut with undulating edges and features a marbled strip. Rim bands are marbled strips, lashed on in a unique knotting technique. Explore several “tapestry” techniques using a variety of materials in this sampler basket. Begin with a turned hardwood pedestal base, mold, and pre-inserted spokes. Techniques include plain and twill weaves, ti-twining, 2-3- and 4-rod waling, reverse waling, overlays, and insets. Choose fromwaxed linens, barks, caning, dyed ash, maple, black walnut, cherry, poplar, leathers, palm influorescence, philodendron leaf sheaths, pine needles, sweetgrass, and a variety of dyed round and flat reeds included in kit. 	Plaid Nelly Dimensions: 11 ½ “ wide x 13 ½” long x 4” high Level: Beginning(some twining experience helpful). With it’s 2/2 twining technique, braided trac border, and oval slotted hardwood base, there’s lots of new things to learn in Plaid Nelly. Multiple pieces of round reed are bundled to form the spokes, then woven back on each other to form the graceful rim. The colorful trac border complements the 4 rod waled (2/2) sides beautifully. 	Arabesque Dimensions: 11” high x 8” diameter (widest point). Top opening is 4 ½” diameter. Pedestal base is 2” high x 4” in diameter at bottom. Level: Intermediate or Advanced Weaving. Begin with a black walnut pedestal base and black walnut spokes, then chase weave with hamburg cane to create this basket. Weaving with pre-shaped spokes creates the graceful, elegant shape. Lash with hamburg cane in a unique “knotting” technique, then add black walnut inlays, shaped to fit your fancy. 	All That Jazz Double Wall Dimensions: 14” H x 11” W x 12” L Level: All Weaving Levels. Jazz up the outside of this double walled basket by using a variety of colored spokes, great contrast to the interior basket woven in natural colors. Jazz it up even more with Seagrass weavers – worked in several techniques. Add oak side handles and feet to complete this spacious double walled basket. 	Black Diamonds Double-Walled Magazine 16" high x 16" long x 7" wide Level: Intermediate/Advanced This double walled basket features an inner basket woven first with end handles, then this inside basket is used as a mold to form the outer basket. Black walnut spokes and weavers create the stunning design. Add custom-made black walnut feet, widened at the base for extra stability and sturdiness. 	Black Walnut Special Size: 12” dia x 6” high Weaving Skill: All levels. Weave this basket with a special twist: black walnut weavers under maple curls that twist in three directions between each set of spokes,creating a lacy blossom look. Begin with a solid black walnut base and combination of natural and black walnut overlay spokes.
